arne（アルネ）が2024年で5周年の節目を迎え、初のミニアルバムをリリースする。「In your somnia」というアルバムはリードトラックのsomniaを始め、「夢」や「夜」、「眠り」がキーワードとなったミニアルバムである。淡々と続いていく毎日に対し、どこへ向かうこともない空虚な気持ちを様々な小説やアニメなどから着想を得て、綴ったもの。Vo/Gt.ひらめの透明感のあるウィスパーボイスが夜の澄んだ空気を感じさせ、そこに激しく鳴るリードギターが感情の渦のようになっていく。なお、サウンド面では今回ニューヨークで活躍するグラミー最優秀賞エンジニアRyoji Hataによるマスタリングが施されている。マスロックからシューゲイザー、ポップの要素など、新しいジャンルとの融合も掛け合わせており、新しいarneの一面を感じられる一枚となっている。更に、これまで自主企画を行なってこなかったarneが、初のリリースイベントを3月17日名古屋と3月22日に東京にて開催。1年をかけてよりブラッシュアップされたライブにも注目。CD販売は3月17日(日)よりリリースイベントの名古屋編会場から先行販売予定。

arne will celebrate its 5th anniversary in 2024 with the release of its first mini-album. The album "In your somnia" is a mini-album with the keywords "dream", "night", and "sleep", including the lead track "somnia". The transparent whisper voice of the vocalist (Vo/Gt. Hirame) makes you feel the clear air of the night, and the lead guitar that plays violently in the air is like a whirlpool of emotions. The sound has been mastered by Grammy Award-winning engineer Ryoji Hata of New York. The album is a fusion of new genres such as mash rock, shoegaze, and pop, and it is a piece that shows a new side of arne. The CD will be on sale at the Nagoya venue of the release event from March 17 (Sun.), and will also be on sale at the Tokyo venue of the release event from March 22 (Sun.).

The cabsや宇宙コンビニ、American Football等に影響を受けた彼らは、ニッチなジャンルであるマス(数学的)ロックを、Gt/Vo.ワオシュンの描く小説の一部を切り取ったような世界観や叙情的な旋律を用いて独自に噛み砕く。Vo/Gt.ひらめの透き通った儚い声、緊張が漂う変則的なリズムにダイナミックな展開を持ち合わせ、キャッチーさを失わない。
